Our project, \u201cZr\u00f3bmy klimat \u2013 adaptation to climate change through the development of educational facilities and blue-green infrastructure in Grudzi\u0105dz\u201d, received 92.05 points.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project \u201cZr\u00f3bmy klimat \u2013 adaptation to climate change through the development of educational facilities and blue-green infrastructure in Grudzi\u0105dz\u201d includes a range of sustainable investments designed to make a tangible improvement to residents\u2019 quality of life and strengthen the city\u2019s resilience to climate change. The planned activities include, among others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>establishing a Nature Education Centre on Lipowa Street,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>revitalising Tarpno Manor Park and the park on Kochanowskiego Street,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>constructing a cycle path connecting the city centre with Lake Tarpie\u0144skie,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>constructing a pedestrian and cycle footbridge over the Trynka Canal,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>revitalising areas along the canal from the Botanical Garden to PCK Street,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>implementing the concept of \u201cblue-green urban acupuncture\u201d, involving the creation of pocket parks and green spaces based on suggestions from residents,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>environmental education activities for children, young people and adults,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>grants for schools to support local environmental initiatives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cooperation with the Municipality of Dragacz and the Municipality of Grudzi\u0105dz as part of partnership projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The substantive assessment stage has now been completed. The list of projects will next be submitted to the Steering Committee, which will decide on the final ranking and the allocation of funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe competition was extremely strong, so sixth place in the ranking is a genuine reason to be proud.
