Public consultations have begun on the activities included in the project entitled “Zróbmy klimat – adaptation to climate change through the development of educational facilities and blue-green infrastructure in Grudziądz”.
Our city has an opportunity to obtain funding under the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Programme. The programme supports the sustainable development of medium-sized cities in Poland through cooperation, the exchange of experience with partners from Switzerland and the provision of financial support for selected activities. Our goal is to secure funding for measures aimed at strengthening the city’s resilience to the negative effects of climate change through the development of educational facilities and blue-green infrastructure.
The purpose of the public consultations is to gather information from residents about their needs related to education in the fields of nature conservation and biodiversity, as well as to collect comments, opinions and suggestions concerning the precise locations and development of areas included in the planned project to be submitted under the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Programme call for proposals, entitled “Zróbmy klimat – adaptation to climate change through the development of educational facilities and blue-green infrastructure in Grudziądz”. The planned activities include:
- a nature and recreation trail,
– Ścieżka przyrodniczo-rekreacyjna.
- revitalisation of green areas along the Trynka Canal,
- blue-green urban acupuncture – revitalisation of public spaces using nature-based solutions.
The consultations will run from 13 December 2024 to 3 January 2025.

In person or by post – forms can be collected and submitted at the Customer Service Office at 1 Ratuszowa Street.
